Winter Hillwalking Courses Our tailored winter hillwalking courses will teach you all you will need to enjoy the fells or mountains you will learn to cope with the challenges of shorter daylight hours and extremes of weather. You will learn how to use an ice axe, move in crampons, navigation skills and make snow pack assessments. We will also teach you how to use a rope to negotiate hazards and build emergency shelters.
