Pick your way along Striding Edge or Sharp Edge under winter conditions and enjoy the best of the Lakes in winter. Explore the high peaks of Glencoe, the Mamores or traverse the icy blocks and cornices of the knife edged Carn Mor Dearg aręte as you make your way to the summit of Ben Nevis- the roof of Britain. 

Our tailored winter hill walking courses will teach you all you will need to enjoy the fells or mountains you will learn to cope with the challenges of shorter daylight hours and extremes of weather. You will learn how to use an ice axe, move in crampons, navigation skills and make snow pack assessments. We will also teach you how to use a rope to negotiate hazards and build emergency shelters.
