Scottish Winter Skills : Why not join us as we cross the summit plateau of Ben Nevis in perfect snow conditions with views to the distant Isles and feel like your on top of the world let alone the roof of Britain. Join us in the Cairngorms, Glencoe or Lochaber and we’ll teach you the skills necessary to get the most from Winter Hill walking in the Highlands as you make the transitition into winter mountaineering. You’ll learn how to use an Ice Axe, how to walk in crampons, use a rope in an emergency or for crossing Cornices, to assess Avalanche Hazards and to build snow shelters.
